Appearance: A pear-shaped, glowing orange mass of electricity with jagged yellow features (eyes and a vertical slit for a mouth). In later live-action appearances, it is surrounded by blue sparks and lighting.
Abilities: It can manipulate electricity to short-circuit buildings, travel through wires and light switches, and melt metal at will.
Original Identity: In the animated series, the ghost was the disguise of Mr. Voltner, a chief electrician who faked his death to help the mayor of Winterhaven scare people away so they could buy the land for cheap. The 10,000 Volt Ghost (often referred to as the 10,000 Volt Man) is an iconic orange electrical monster from the Scooby-Doo franchise. It first appeared in the 1976 episode "Watt a Shocking Ghost" of The Scooby-Doo Show.
